Involve the locals when planning an event
Gaining the trust and support from the local community can make the difference between a successful event or a security nightmare, explains ERIC PULE. hen planning an event that will be based outside a formal stadium or sports field, the local communities along the route will be the baseline of your plans for the event; their involvement will play an important role in making your event either successful or unsuccessful. Your planning might be unsuccessful when communities’ roles and functions are not included, because communities might have a negative impact towards your planning when not involved.
