Booklet - South African Sports Federations
SRSA has released a booklet of contact details of national and provincial level sports organisations, including sports federations, provincial sports academies, and provincial government departments dealing with sport.
The booklet contains not only sport federations recognised by SASCOC and those funded by SRSA, but also other sports organisations that have activities and events that are sport related.
The purpose of the booklet is to help South Africans who are interested in a particular sport get in touch with the organisers and so become involved in taking part in it.
There are more than 120 sport code and sub-code bodies in South Africa on a national level, several hundred on provincial level and, it is estimated, more than 30 000 sports clubs in the country.
