RSA 1973 Games

The announcement a year ago that the 1973 South African Open International Games would be held in Pretoria - capital city of South Africa - was greeted with disbelief. The racially-minded Afrikaners of Pretoria would not stand for it, said the sceptics. But the Games were a triumph. In the words of the Prime Minister, Mr B.J.
