Distinct menisco-meniscal ligaments - the missing link in knee injuries

In theory knee injuries could be related to the presence of a peculiar ligament in the knee, but it is not known how common it is among individuals. one out of every two people in this study were found to have a peculiar transverse ligament of the knee. However, the exact function or role of this ligament first needs to be identified, before its presence can be linked to knee injury.
