The relationships between the phosphate, anaerobic and aerobic energy system-related power measurements of African male road cyclists

Tests of muscle power conducted in a laboratory on African road cyclists showed a high agreement between values measuring the immediate short-term energy system. However these test results were not related to results of a Vo2max test for long term energy provision.
