Springbok Rugby Uncovered

The years between 2000 and 2003 have been among the most turbulent in the history of Springbok rugby. The sacking of a series of coaches, a string of records losses, allegations of racism in the Bok squad, the scandal of Kamp Staaldraad and the early exit from the World Cup have rocked the once-solid foundations of the South African rugby world. And 2004 has already seen the slow disintegration of SA Rugby, SARFU's commercial arm, with the resignation of several key staff members, including the managing director.
