
SA National School Sport Championship
The South African National School Sports Championship is an annual nation-wide program that culminates in the SA National School Sports Championship, a series of events where top schools participation for national honours.
The South African Schools Sports Championship sees participants from provincial school teams, including participants with disabilities participate in different sporting codes including indigenous games. This initiative has increased opportunities for learners from all schools to participate in an integrated national multi-coded sports event.
This is a highly competitive multi-coded school sports league competition aimed at promoting school sport amongst learners within various school environments at National Level. Schools register their school teams to participate in the league's five competition levels
Date
The event is held during three seasons of the year namely, autumn, winter and spring and during school holidays to enable maximum participation.
