Confirmation of the Passing away of Mrs. Emma Gabaitsiwe Mathebula,the wife of the late Peter "Terror" Mathebula

Department of Sport and Recreation, Gauteng Provincial Department of Sport, Arts and Culture, Rand West City Local Municipality and Boxing South Africa officially announces the sudden passing away of the wife of the late Peter "Terror" Mathebula, Mrs Emma Gabaitsiwe Mathebula (65) who passed away this morning at Mohlakeng Randfontein, Number 3. Mozolo street,Mathebula home.

Mme Emma Mathebula departed at the period when she and her family were still mourning her late husband Peter ‘Terror’ Mathebula who passed away on Saturday, 18 January 2020 and preparations for his funeral were still underway.

She also passed away on a day when the nation was to celebrate the life of her late husband in a Memorial Service that was meant to take place in the afternoon of Thursday, 23 January 2020. As a result of this double jeopardy to the family, the Memorial Service has now been rescheduled and will take place on Sunday, 26 January 2020.

The family has confirmed that final send off of their loving parents who remained joined in love till death beckoned them over to the celestial palace would be a joint funeral on Tuesday, 28 January 2020.

The joint funeral service is therefore scheduled for Tuesday, 28 January 2020 with the service commencing at 07H00 - 10H00 at Ramosa Hall. The funeral procession will then depart to Green Hills Cemetery to the final resting place for Mr and Mrs Mathebula.
